The gist :

Who ever said that dreams are just that - dreams, then they need to get a new meme. For, Not long ago, after I got to watch the "Locker [Shibuya Kaidan] " movies and the JDrama Seito Shokun, I had a dream. A couple in fact. I won't go into the details but SHINKU just made them come true. I will get in more detail about this later but first, what this is all about.

I just couldn't help it but at the above scene, when young Kako tried suicide by getting hit by a bike, I was having major Joker/Batman flash backs in The Dark Knight when the Joker was baiting the Batman to run him over!

 

Seven years ago, there happened a huge incident. A Family of four was brutally murdered but either be it luck or misfortune, the eldest child in the family, a daughter of 13years of age was away on a school trip so she survived.  Akiba Kako was away with her classmates telling each other scary stories when a teacher came to announce to her the shocking news. On the way to the hospital, they received a call informing them that the hospitals had been changed, thus undeniably letting Kako know that there were no chance of any one being alive still. They are taken to the morgue where Kako looks on to her late family as they lie there lifeless.

Seven years later, Kako is now a University student majoring in film and entertainment. The detective who was in charge of the murder comes to see her as he had been doing since she was 13 and informs her that the killer was to be sentenced in a week's time. The killer also has a daughter who is around Kako's age. Tsuzuki Miho now works in a club she owns and is already married to a scout agent.

Kako decides to meet the daughter of the person that killed her family to see how different the two of them were so she asks the detective for info and goes on the search for Miho. Not long, Kako finds the club "Ice Storm" that Miho works at and the two have a fateful encounter. Kako knows who the other is but Miho has no clue.

The next time Kako goes to Ice storm, she comes away with Miho's number and a promise for a date to the movies which goes as planned. They go out to dinner and start getting along really well but there are dark feelings hiding under both of their hearts though only Kako's are hinted at. 

I could feel the feelings flowing from the screen when watching this movie. The only surviving daughter of a family that was so brutally killed, meeting the daughter of the man that took everything away from you yet doing nothing but having drinks and going out to the movies! I seriously thought most of the times that "Okay, now Kako is gonna lose it and choke Miho to death" but it never happened.

It turns out that Miho was resented by everyone for the crimes of her father as one would expect but even her supposed husband didn't marry her out of love. She was like a punching bag, sex toy, anything to amuse himself with but no more. Miho never fought back too thinking that she deserved it. That the two children among the family that was killed probably felt more pain than she did. So she would just lie there and take the beatings.

Kako found out about this and by then having gotten closer, the two of them, Kako suggested for Miho to kill Mr Bad guy (Miho's Husband)

Just before they set off to their perfectly planned murder, Kako has one her her fits that had been getting ever since the accident of her family. Anything that she did during that time, whenever something similar happened, she would fall into a break down and could understand what was happening but couldn't move a muscle and would appear as if she was sleeping but when she actually isn't. When that happened this time, she has a conversation in her mind with Miho and she understands that making Miho a killer too was the worst idea at the moment.

 

But by the time she regains her senses, miho has already left and when Kako meets up with her, Mr bad guy is already done for but we are lucky and Miho didn't hit so hard so he was still unconscious. Miho tries to finish him off but Kako stops her in time and begs her to stop the cycle of pain.

Miho decides to leave and move somewhere else just in case Mr bad Guy decides to go for revenge or get back with her and so she leaves but not just like that.

She leaves Kako with a kiss that her future dreams will be made of.

Bah! I like Japan in that it has the idea of attempting something but always get chicken feet in the end.

Where are my GOOD ENDS?! Why didn't Miho just stay with Kako?! Arg!

Anyway, back to the dream thing, As I said, after I watched Seito Shokun in which Horikita Maki and Uchiyama Rina starred as the mains, I was so filled with great ideas after their subtext that I just couldn't stops the dreams from powering out! Times like these that I want to go back to FIC writing.

And then, I watched the Locker movies in which Horikita Maki starred again but this time with Mizukawa Asami. And so, I was debating on who is most compatible with Maki-chan between Asami and Rina-san. \this movie was like the answer to my question. Not only having Asami and Rina in it as the mains but Maki herself getting in on it! What a way to make decisions easier.

It also doesn't get any happier that these three are my MAIN THREE in the Top 20 Actresses list!

Can you believe how I feel seeing Asami and Rina kissing?!! I still replay this kiss everyday just to make sure I ain't dreaming! Asami and Rina kissing is like...is like...I can't even compare it to anything else.

And Rina's name has "Mountain" in it while Asami's has "Water/River" in it. Everyone knows about the Mountain/River story right?! Such a perfect cast for this movie! I don't think I shall ever be happy watching a movie as I was this one! A fic is definitely in the works. Only the BEST END can do better of this movie in a FIC.

I’m going to make this as short and as clear on the instructions as possible. Take note however that I’m not an expert on viruses so I advice you to consult an expert first or, if you are willing, just go a head and follow my instructions. I was once a programmer, but I didn’t pursue that field, and I moved on to web development. Anyway I have encountered many viruses in my daily use of computers, and as much as I know programing and how code works, I can usually remove it without using any anti-virus software. However, be warned that the following procedure will require you to edit your Registry and thus no mistakes must be made there. Or else you may end up with a messed OS.

Introduction

SSCVIHOST.exe according to my research has many names, the popular are W32/Sohana-AO (Sophos) and W32.Imaut.AY (Symantec/Norton). Basically this is a type of worm virus that spreads via USB thumb drives and/or Yahoo! Messenger. A worm virus, technically, doesn’t destroy your files, it just add tons of of useless files in order to fill up your hard drive or slowdown your system resources. We don’t like that do we?

Anti-virus softwares

Most major anti-virus products with the latest definition files installed, detects this virus so you don’t have to worry about it spreading through your hard drive. Sophos, Symantec Norton, TrendMicro PcCillin, already detects this. I’m not sure about McAffe, AVG, or ESET NOD 32. But I will tell you this, BitDefender, even with the latest update installed doesn’t detect this. So you have that anti-virus program, chances are, SSCVIHOST.exe will eventually reach your computer.

Symptoms

1. CLTR+ALT+DEL is not working
2. Folder Options is missing from your TOOLS menu
3. Registry Editor (RegEdit) is not working
4. Your system is slowing down gradually
5. There seems to be a lot of hard drive activity even if you are doing nothing
6. You have a New Folder.exe in every folder and in each sub folder

Preparation

This is the actual procedure I did when the worm infiltrated my PC. Before you start on the procedure, you have to download this file from Symantec.

UnHookExec.inf (click to go to the website and the download link).

The file will enable RegEdit and other commands disabled by the virus. Save this file in your desktop. Now let’s start.

Removing the virus

FIRST: You have to stop the virus from running in the first place. If your system is already infected, it is already running in the background. You must restart your computer then run it in safe mode.

1. Restart your PC
2. Press F8 as soon after the BIOS boots. If you don’t know what that is, just keep pressing F8 until a menu appears.
3. Select Safe Mode from the menu
4. On your desktop, right click on the file UnHookExec.inf then select install. You won’t see any prompt or confirmation so don’t worry about it.
5. By now, CTRL+ALT+DEL is already working so open up your Task Manager. End task the following programs/processes:
   • SSCVIHOST.exe
   • blastclnnn.exe
   • New Folder.exe

SECOND: Delete the virus files from your PC. There are two ways to do this, via windows shell or command prompt (DOS) shell. Since Folder Options has been disabled by the virus, you cannot switch to show hidden files and system files. Well you can edit it in your Registry, but let’s just do it the DOS-way. Follow this carefully.

1. Select Run from your start menu, then type cmd. Press enter. The paths differ depending on your operating system, but in this procedure let’s assume you are using Windows XP
2. At the command prompt go to your system32 folder (this may differ if you are using NT/2000 or XP). For the sake of this procedure lets assume you are using XP. Type cd\windows\system32
3. On this path (c:\windows\system32>) type the following commands in order:
   • attrib -h -r -s SSCVIHOST.exe
   • del SSCVIHOST.exe
   • attrib -h -r -s blastclnnn.exe
   • del blastclnnn.exe
   • attrib -h -r -s autorun.ini
   • del autorun.ini
   • cd\windows\ (this will move you to the windows prompt c:\windows)
   • attrib -h -r -s SSCVIHOST.exe
   • del SSCVIHOST.exe

THIRD Clean up the registry. Your RegEdit is already running because of the file we’ve downloaded from Symantec. On your run box (from the Start menu) type regedit. WARNING: Be careful on what you edit here, because a single mistake may screw up your system. Just follow the paths that are mentioned here so you won’t get lost. Make sure you edit only what mentioned in this procedure.

Navigate to the following registry entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\
“Shell” = “Explorer.exe SSCVIHOST.exe”
(edit and remove the word SSCVIHOST.exe leaving only Explorer.exe, if you screw this up windows shell won’t show on your next boot)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
“Yahoo Messengger” = “%System%\SSCVIHOST.exe”
(delete this entry)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\WorkgroupCrawler\Shares\
“shared” = “[SHARE NAME]\New Folder.exe”
(delete this entry)

Restore the following registry entries to their original values, if required:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\
“DisableTaskMgr” = “1″
(set to zero (0) to enable)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\

FOURTH Clean again after cleaning. Restart your PC, again in Safe Mode (remember to press F8). This time we will remove all other files that have been created by the virus. Folder options in your Tools menu is already working so open that up. Then select “Show Hidden files and folders” and uncheck “Hide protected operating system files.” Then search your whole hard disk (using windows search from the start menu) and SHIFT+DEL all these files. Also cleanup your recycle bin after this.

• SSCVIHOST.exe
• blastclnnn.exe
• New Folder.exe (these are the garbage files created by the worm it will create thousands upon thousands of these in your hard drive)

FIFTH Check your autoruns. On your run box at the start menu, type msconfig. Look at the startup tab for any suspicious files that are related to the virus and disable (you can also remove it in the registry) it.

That’s it. Reboot your system normally and check your Task Manager (CLTR+ALT+DEL) if there are running processes that aren’t supposed to be running.
